We will get what we deserve in B.C. election

-

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once said: “I am easily satisfied with the very best.”

If Churchill were alive today, I wonder what he might say about the B.C. Liberal government. Perhaps he would comment on Premier Christy Clark’s secretive pay-for-access fundraising with the rich and infamous by saying: “Never in the field of B.C. politics has so much money been donated by so few to insure the election of so many.”

Maybe he would critique her party’s regurgitated campaign promises and duplicitous advertising by saying: “Never in the field of B.C. politics has so much bull manure been dumped by so few on so many.” Possibly he would remark on voter apathy by pointing a finger at you and me before saying: “Never in the field of B.C. politics has so much depended on so few for the long-term benefit of so many.”

Take the time to make your mark. At the very least, voting will legitimize your right to complain about the policies and actions of the next B.C. government.
