Constant loss of gathering places

-

Dear Editor: Re: “Darwin’s Theory Badly Flawed” (Herald, Aug. 22).

Quote: “Until Darwin’s theory is debunked by the scientific community and dropped from the school curriculum a further decline in morality can be expected.”

This train of thought harkens back to the time of civic legalized blasphemy killing. However there are still several current “only” Gods, whereas there were many man-created Gods and worship idols that have disappeared from civilization.

The strong belief by one religion or by a faction of one religion as the only God existing has and is killing millions. I do hope this sword wielding nonsense comes to and end soon.

Starting years ago all over the world, without any form of shared communication lightening was a sign of an all powerful God.

Regardless whether there are actually Gods in any form, humans have a need to believe in something greater than themselves, greater than life. Contrary wise, we are imbued with driving forces to question everything physical and non physical including the belief there are Gods. There still are many observable actualities and mysterious occurrences that we may never comprehend, like the evolution of immeasurable forms of reproduction and perhaps more life entities, reproductive life organisms.

The rather constant loss of churches and social clubs as gathering places, tells us to stay viable they must offer some fresh or modified compelling desire to frequent them. Is it true human parts can be developed in laboratories today?

The fuller acceptance of Darwin knowledge has improved Canadian morality and just societal objectives.
