Money must be circulated
Open letter to Premier John Horgan and Energy Minister Michelle Mungall:
Please note there is not one dollar tied up in any existing power dam, bridge, office buildings or residence.
Example Kelowna’s new bridge: The construction of this bridge and other projects are money circulation catalysts.
All the monies paid to, passed through labour and for materials are still and will still continue being passed through consumerism and other projects of every kind.
No money was taken out of circulation or any person’s pocket, on the contrary money was added to circulation.
Great ongoing benefits were generated by passing money through the bridge project. There was no cost in building the bridge. Period!
Incidentally, the lake once created by the Site C dam will be a worthy additional public asset of untold value.
Again there is not one dollar tied up in the bridge nor would there be one dollar tied up in construction of the Site C power dam.
The beauty of adequate money circulation projects adds to the wealth of every Canadian in the form of benefiting publicly acquired assets and resultant enhanced daily well-being.
Inadequate money circulation prevents Canadians realizing their potential; inadequacy furthers much social strife, violence and homelessness.
Importantly, the economies of B.C. and Canada “require” sufficient large money circulation projects acting as the catalyst drivers of adequate overall money circulation.
The velocity and volume of more money being passed through projects is only limited by excessive inflation.
The false understanding by the general public and academics, concerning the functions of money circulation, cannot much longer stand.
In each passing year, the importance of facilitating and publicly supporting an adequate velocity and volume of money circulation is a paramount governing obligation.
Likewise the main function of adequate taxation is sustaining and growing the velocity and volume
