KELOWNA City Park Cenotaph At 10:30 a.m. a parade will march from Mill Street along Bernard Avenue to Abbott Street and to the Cenotaph in City Park. Following the ceremony, participat­ing youth groups are invited to the Legion branch, 1380 Bertram St., for lunch. A period of remembranc­e will be held in the Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way from noon to 3:30 p.m.

KEREMEOS Memorial Park Cenotaph A parade from the Royal Canadian Legion to Memorial Park will begin at 10:45 a.m.

LAKE COUNTRY George Elliot Secondary School, 10241 Bottom Wood Lake Rd Please be seated by 10:30 a.m. Following the ceremony an open house will be held at the Legion, 15712 Oyama Road.

NARAMATA Manitou Park A ceremony will be held beginning at 10:50 a.m. Following the ceremony, all are welcome to the Naramata Community Church hall.

OKANAGAN FALLS Community Hall/OK Falls Cenotaph A ceremony will be held at the community centre at 10 a.m. A colour parade will march from the elementary school at 10:30 a.m. toward the cenotaph. A laying of the wreath ceremony begins at 11 a.m. The public is invited back to the Legion following the ceremony for food and music.

OLIVER City Hall Cenotaph A memorial service will be held at Oliver Community Centre at 9:45 a.m. followed by a colour parade at 10:30 a.m. from the community centre to the cenotaph at Oliver Town Hall.

OSOOYOS Sonora Community Centre Gym Starting at 10:45 a.m. Immediatel­y following the ceremony, dignitarie­s will be laying wreaths at the cenotaph in front of Planning and Developmen­t Services on Main St.

PEACHLAND Peachland Community Centre Fall in at 10:20 a.m. at the Peachland Community Centre. Following the ceremony, adults and children are welcome at the Legion on 2nd Street.

PENTICTON Penticton Trade and Convention Centre and Veterans Memorial Park An indoor Remembranc­e Day ceremony will be held at Penticton Trade and Convention Centre starting at 10:30 a.m. A parade of veterans will march there from the Penticton Curling Club at around 10:15 a.m. Alternatel­y, an outdoor ceremony will be held at the cenotaph in Veterans Memorial Park beside the courthouse beginning at 10:45 a.m. Following the services, attendees are encouraged to meet a veteran at either the Legion or ANAVETs.

PRINCETON Veterans Square Cenotaph A parade will form at 10:30 a.m. at School District #58 parking lot and march off at 10:45 a.m. towards the cenotaph. A Service of Remembranc­e will be held at 11 a.m. at the cenotaph at Veterans Square. Following the ceremony, the Legion will open to the public for a luncheon.

RUTLAND Lions Park Cenotaph The ceremony at the cenotaph in Lions Park will be preceded by a parade starting at 10:30 a.m. from the Unit Clubhouse parking lot at 270 Dougall Road North to Gray Road and into the park. Following the ceremony and parade dismissal, an Open House reception will be held at the Unit clubhouse, 270 Dougall Road N.

SUMMERLAND Memorial Park Cenotaph A parade will start at 10:45 and march from the old library building on Wharton Street to the cenotaph at Memorial Park where a Ceremony of Remembranc­e will be held at 11 a.m. Following the ceremony, the Legion Hall will open with entertainm­ent at 2 p.m. and a turkey dinner at 5 p.m. The dinner is free for Veterans and $15 for the public.

VERNON Kal Tire Place, 3445 43 Ave. A Remembranc­e Day service begins at 9:50 a.m. on the arena floor. The welcome is at 10:20 a.m. followed by the parade of veterans at 10:25 a.m. Following the ceremony, the public is invited to the Eagles/Legion hall at 5101 25th Ave. The Army Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Unit No. 5 at 2500 46 Ave. is also open for stew (by donation), presented by the ladies auxiliary. A pipe band will perform at 1 p.m. followed by live music with the Evergreen Drifters at 2 p.m. The kitchen will open with its regular menu at 3 p.m.

WEST KELOWNA Royal LePage Place, 2760 Cameron Rd., West Kelowna Please arrive by 10 a.m. as a parade and the Colour Party precede the 11 a.m. ceremony. Following the ceremony, lunch will be served at the Branch for members and invited guests.
