PLK remains perfect at 3-0

Zico Pescada and Andy Burt helped keep Penticton Lock and Key perfect after three rounds of play in the Bad Tattoo Brewery Masters Indoor Soccer League.

Pescada collected three goals and three assists and Burt had three goals and two assists as PLK doubled TC Auto Sales 10-5 on Sunday at the Adidas Sportsplex.

Paul Borba, Venna Veselka, Alan Clarke and Phil Barata also connected for PLK, which led 4-2 at halftime.

Kevin Kothlow scored three for a leaguelead­ing 13 in three games, with Peter Toth and Peter Ruocco also scoring for TCA.

Dave Killick logged a goal and two assists as Harvey-Lister-Webb topped Theos 4-2 in the lowest-scoring game of the young season.

Herb Alex, Reid Jenkins and Derrick Webb also scored for HLW, which led 2-1 at the breaks.

Harry Higson and Darren Schimpf replied for Theos.

While PLK sits in first at 3-0, the other three teams are locked in a tie for second at 1-2.

In action this Sunday, TC Auto plays HLW at 10 a.m., then it’s PLK versus Theos at 11:20 a.m.

MURRAY GM MEN’S LEAGUE (Round 2): Bryan Kawer had a hat trick as PFC shaded the Blue Bucks 7-6, Penticton Liverpools FC defeated Black Panthers FC 6-4, Oliver FC doubled the Over-35s 9-6, and Nomads beat The Hooligans 8-3.

CO-ED LEAGUE (Round 4): Two games ended in ties — Investors Group FC 5-5 with Riverside Liquor Go Bananas, and Finally First Choice Window and Door Centre 3-3 with Delicate Bulls FC.

Greenwood Forest Products Calypso blanked Omland Heal LLP 7-0.
