Readers react to 10 best SOEC concerts
Social media was flooded with comments on our picks for the 10 best SOEC concerts since 2008 (Okanagan Weekend, Feb. 24). Here are a few of the many comments posted online:
Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban were amazing! I went into labour with my daughter at the Keith Urban concert.
—Tania Vassilakaki Def Leppard, Brooks and Dunn, Bare Naked Ladies, Terri Clark, Bryan Adams, Jerry Seinfeld, Weird Al, Vees setting wins record, first appearances of Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Connor McDavid as Oilers, and all my kids playing minor hockey there. —Paul Parkinson Sorry, love your expertise but leaving Heart off the best of list kinda negates all the choices for me. —John Hudson What about Bryan Adams? There were several other great shows. Not sure why some of those worst made the list. —Victoria Holbrook Megadeth in the top 10? Dave Mustaine was horrible... he had zero emotion, no energy. He collected a paycheque. Suicidal Tendencies were the stars of that show! —Robert Emms Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley were my two favourites! —Laura Dunn-Mckibben I've seen six of the chosen top 10 and they were amazing, but I would’ve added Keith Urban, Bryan Adams and Steve Miller. Meat Loaf was the worst that I’ve ever seen though.

—Veronica Lynn Vinge Umm; I think you may have forgot Def Leppard, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Weird Al and The Canadian Tenors. Just to name a few. Gosh I really wish we get more metal again. At least Slayer is coming back. Now if we could just get Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, The Tea Party or Pearl Jam, that would be amazing!
