Valley schools have chance to win tech

Three Okanagan schools are in the running to win $20,000 worth of new technology from Staples Canada and Earth Day Canada.

They are among 100 finalists in a contest that asked schools to outline projects that demonstrated outstanding environmental stewardship.

The Okanagan schools on the list are West Bench Elementary in Penticton, Ellison Elementary in Vernon and Okanagan Landing Elementary, also in Vernon.

The winning school will be announced in April.
