Win prizes, learn how to call a moose at third annual sportsmen’s show

-

The third annual BC Interior Sportsman Show will be bigger than ever, its organizers promise.

The event will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday next week at the CNC on Gordon Drive.

It includes a full line of speakers, exhibitors, activities and door prizes.

Fly casting, game cooking, archery, skinning, drone demos and fly tying are just some of the activities to watch and try.

Bring your antler sheds in to be scored by the Peachland Sportsmen Association and be entered to win a gift certificate.

Speakers are scheduled throughout the event, speaking on topics such as kokanee tactics, calling moose, fish filleting, and trapping.

“We have over $8,000 in prizes. A sport fishing trip from Rugged Point Lodge, a Scotty Electric Downrigger from Atlantis Marine, or an Adventure Weekend at Christina Lake are just some of the door prizes available at the 2018 BC Interior Sportsman Show,” said Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown, the show’s producer.

Tickets are $10 for youth and adults. Kids 12 and under are free with an adult, and parking is free.

Tickets are available online at bcinteriorsportsmanshow.com or at the door.
