Videos should whet your appetite for Tahiti

-

Tahiti Tourisme has launched #TakeMeToTahiti, a digital content campaign starring travellers immersed in the scenery and culture of the islands of Tahiti.

#TakeMeToTahiti is the followup to Two Stories/One Mana in which three couples participated in uniquely Tahitian activities.

Last year, after unveiling Two Stories/One Mana, Tahiti Tourisme launched a global audition to cast real couples and families in the new digital video series, which takes them on a journey of the islands.

The series features couples from the United States and Brazil as well as a family from the South Africa now residing in the United Kingdom.

Tahiti Tourisme’s global casting call led to a flood of submissions from travellers who provided fun and enlightening answers as to why they should be picked for the #TakeMeToTahiti campaign.

Two couples, Helder and Fana from Brazil, Erin and Evan from the United States, and the Gobbett family from England were selected.

Each day, the guests were greeted with a wooden spinner, like one you’d find in a game of Chance. They took a spin to reveal the day’s adventure.

Each day, the spinner’s outcome brought the travellers to various islands such as Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Taha’a and the Marquesas Islands, immersing them in activities like yachting and snorkelling, world-class spa treatments, exploring vanilla plantations, taking in the scenery and surfing, learning about Tiki before hiking up waterfalls.

Tahiti Tourisme Canada has launched a social media campaign called #TakeMeToTahitiCanada in partnership with Darlene Anderson. Through social media, specifically Instagram, Anderson will offer followers a chance to win a trip.
