The locally owned track is celebrating 50 years in 2019. Johnny Aantjes, the current owner has ran the track for almost 20 years and says that 2017 was the most successful season to date.

Along with stock car racing, fans can enjoy two bull-riding events in the 2018 season. The Speedway will welcome riders from all over Western Canada competing for thousands in purse money in front of bleachers packed with excited fans at the fifth annual Bull-A-Rama this July, plus a second date has been added in May.

This is a Bull Riders Canada sanctioned event, making it one of the stops on the Canada-wide circuit to the finals.

Also this year, there will be barrel racing, plus a junior steer riding portion featuring extra prize money and the young prodigies of the British Columbia’s bull riding circuit.
