West tower sales offically start this weekend

-

The wait is almost over for prospective home buyers interested in ONE Water Street’s second and final tower.

Sales of homes in the West Tower officially begin this weekend with public sales commencing at 1:00 P.M.

Introductory pricing and the best selection of homes will be offered to those who act fast.

Interest in the West Tower has been gaining momentum since its display homes were unveiled a month ago at downtown Kelowna’s ONE Water Street’s Presentation Centre, along with the first close-up look at the abundance of amenities to be offered on the “The Bench”. The number of interested parties has rapidly grown to three times the number that preceded the start of sales in the East Tower last fall.

New Mix of Floorplans; Bigger Outdoor Balconies The variety of floorplans in the 29storey West Tower has been finetuned to reflect the demand from unfulfilled purchasers who missed out when sales officially started for the East Tower. With one and twobedroom layouts leading the pack in buyer preference at the East Tower, a large number of these homes will be released in the West Tower and have been designed with even larger balconies to take full advantage of the incredible 360degree views of Okanagan Lake, Knox Mountain and the entire surrounding landscape.

Also driving buyer interest is the introductory pricing resulting from this mix of homes. As sales begin, prices will start in the low $300,000 range, with half of all homes in the West Tower priced at less than $500,000.

“With this level of interest, we’re sure that a good number of the West Tower homes will be sold this opening weekend,” says Henry Bereznicki, managing partner of development partner North American Development Group. “With these introductory prices, it’s value that’s hard to beat when you consider the heights of these new homes and the abundance of urbanstyle amenities they offer just steps from the beach, Kelowna Boardwalk and downtown. Following this weekend, we expect the combined sales in both towers will exceed 300 homes making ONE Water Street Kelowna’s best seller.”

The interest in ONE Water Street has intensified since the sales program for the West Tower was accelerated last February. Most homes in the 36-storey East Tower sold quickly, mainly to Okanagan residents and buyers who currently live in the Lower Mainland. Most of these buyers plan to make ONE Water Street their new permanent home.

Meanwhile, piles for the East Tower’s foundation were completed earlier this month, allowing the next phase of construction to begin. “The pace we’ve been setting is nothing short of amazing, and it’s being driven by the interest we’ve seen in both buildings,” adds Leonard Kerkhoff, vice president of Kerkhoff Construction. “East Tower construction is underway, just as sales begin on the West Tower six months ahead of schedule. We’re pleased with the interest people have shown in the project which is certainly the first of its kind anywhere in the Okanagan.” Best location in Kelowna, plus resort-style relaxation at

“The Bench” Stay at home, or head down the street. Either way, there’s so much to do right in your own neighbourhood. ONE Water Street is only a block from Okanagan Lake, near Knox Mountain, and less than a 10minute walk to marina facilities. Walk or bike a few blocks further and stroll down the Boardwalk to the beaches, visit Kelowna’s cultural district, shop downtown or take in the local farm-to-table dining and nightlife. Sports and music events are also right across the street at Prospera Place, which is right around the corner from two of the Okanagan’s best restaurants with award-winning chefs. Okanagan’s renowned wineries, golf, skiing, hiking and more are easy drives from ONE Water Street.

But for those who just want to relax at home, they can take it outside to “The Bench”, the fourthlevel elevated 1.3-acre landscaped park for the exclusive use of ONE Water Street home owners.

It features two outdoor swimming pools, lounge decks, a hot tub, grilling stations, fire pits, a pickleball court and a dog park. Inside, there’s an indoor private health club with a fully-equipped gym, yoga/Pilates/dance/stretch studios, a multi-purpose entertainment room and guest suites.

The West Tower is the second and final opportunity for buyers to get in on the ground floor of this development, which has Kelowna’s only true, urban-style lakeside highrises centrally located to take advantage of the best of Kelowna. Buyers who missed out on the floorplan of their choice in the East Tower will have one more chance to find the home they want as West Tower sales begin.

The 29-storey West Tower at ONE Water Street is now selling. Registrations for introductory pricing are still being accepted online at www.ONEWaterStreet.ca, in person or by phone.
