OK Falls winery pulls double duty

Wild Goose Vineyards and Winery of Okanagan Falls picked up the top two awards last week at the All Canadian Wine Championships.

Its 2017 Wild Goose Gerwurtztraminer was named Best White Wine of Show, while its 2016 Red Horizon Meritage was crowned Best Red Wine of Show.

Senior winemaker Hagen Kruger said the double-win was unprecedented.

“That is truly humbling, our growers, vineyard, and cellar teams did a remarkable job putting that wine together,” Kruger said in a press release.

Both products are available through retailers, online and in the tasting room.
