It will be Fun in the Sun for children and adults alike.

Powell Beach in Trout Creek will be the scenic backdrop for the Tri Power Triathlon Club’s fourth annual Fun in the Sun Triathlon on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.

“It’s a fun, friendly event for all ages, for those that are new to the sport as well as for experienced triathletes who want to get in a good practice race,” said Tri Power club founder and coach Melissa Berrisford.

The following are the categories and distances for the event: Age 5: 25 metre swim, 1 km bike, 200 metre run. Age 6-8: 50 metre swim, 2 km bike, 400 metre run.
