Farmers’market thanks public

Dear editor: On behalf of the Penticton Farmers' Market, I would like to thank all of our wonderful customers for their support this season.

You came out in the cool, occasionally rainy spring and fall weather, and you braved the summer smoke to support your local farmers. Thanks to you, we were proud to accept the Tourism Excellence Award at the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

We truly appreciate your participation in making the Penticton Farmers' Market the amazing experience that it continues to be.

We would like to invite you all to join us for our Winter Markets, which take place at the Shatford Centre (760 Main St.) on Nov. 10 and 24, and Dec. 8 and 22. The winter markets are open from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. There will be wonderful fresh fruits and veggies, prepared foods, and great local crafts available.
