Greyhound only wanted freight

-

Dear editor: I'm tired of the media promoting the fiction that Greyhound pulled out due to lack of passengers.

When service was decent I would go to the Island two or three times a year. Then, they changed it, so in order to visit the Island, we had to overnight either in Kelowna or Vancouver, coming or going. Also, before that, they decided to leave us on a hillside in the snow, outside a closed gas station, at 1 a.m. as a regular transfer stop, or often outside a closed bus depot earlier in the evening.

Years ago my daughter on the coast realized Greyhound was only interested in freight. Joy Lang Penticton
