Director Paul W.S. Anderson reteamed with his “Resident Evil” star Milla Jovovich for this special effects-driven 2020 actioner in which she stars as Lt. Artemis, who with her loyal soldiers are transported to another dimension where they’re forced to fend for themselves against ferocious, giant monsters. Ron Perlman, Tony Jaa, Diego Boneta and Meagan Good also star.

“Movie: Boss Level”

Joe Carnahan (“Smokin’ Aces,” “The A-Team”) co-wrote and directed this over-the-top sci-fi actioner that stars Frank Grillo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Roy Pulver, a former special forces agent trapped in a time loop that forces him to relive his own death repeatedly. The fine cast also includes Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson, Will Sasso and Annabelle Wallis.

“Movie: Jungleland”

By day, former pro boxer Walter “Lion” Kaminski (Jack O’Connell) and his ex-con brother and manager Stanley (Charlie Hunnam) work menial jobs in a factory, but at night they shoot for a bigger payday in underground boxing matches. After they have a falling out over a covert bet Stanley has placed on Lion, a gangster (Jonathan Majors) tries to exploit their tensions for profit in Max Winkler’s 2019 drama.
