RCA’s 20th Anniversary Performance Season delivers from the Dancers of Damelahamid to Comedian Mary Walsh to Sean McMann of Great Big Sea

Rotary Centre for the Arts is excited to announce its new season for 2022/23. The 20th Anniversary lineup of performances from dancers to musicians to comedy brings entertainment to Kelowna's Cultural District.

Kicking off the season is the incredibly talented Leila Neverland. On September 17th, Leila will record her new full-length album, bringing modern eclectic music to Mary Irwin Theatre.

For the second year in a row, the RCA is excited to present the Roving Audience Experience (RAE) on September 24th. RAE allows you to enjoy different types of performance art while exploring Kelowna's Cultural District. Pick up your program and map and wander Downtown Kelowna to experience performance, music, and visual art.

The Dancers of Damelahamid return to perform Mînowin on October 8th. Mînowin connects landscapes and coastal forms with contemporary perspectives of traditional Indigenous dance forms through narrative, movement, song, performance, and new multimedia design.

There will be laughter and tears at The Cave's apocalyptic cabaret, October 19, that tackles climate change uniquely.

This fall, the Mary Irwin Theatre will host a long-awaited performance from Canadian icon Mary Walsh. An Evening with Mary Walsh features Mary's best humour and most popular characters.

The holiday season begins with an epic production, North Pole Stories, co-produced with New Vintage Theatre from December 8-12, a magical family adventure including a photo with Santa.

Ringing in the New Year will be Suzie Vinnick & Lloyd Spiegel - two award-winning Blues icons performing back-to-back in the Mary Irwin Theatre on January 25th.

To keep the music flowing, Cassie & Maggie will perform on February 4th. These Juno-nominated siblings combine traditional Celtic music with contemporary influences.

In honour of International Womens’ Day, RCA Presents Yuk Yuk’s – I am Woman Hear Me Laff. Canadian comedians Jane Stanton, Sharon Mahoney, and Amber Harper-Young will help chase away the winter blues on March 9th.

You won’t want to miss The Shantyman Sean McCann on May 10th. That’s right, Sean McCann from the legendary Canadian folk rock band Great Big Sea.

And on May 13th, The Comic Strippers return for a night of quick-witted improv, extreme hilarity, but, despite the name, no extreme nudity.

Enjoy dinner before the show at the RCA”s new Italian Bistro, Roma Nord, Advanced reservations are recommended.

Thank you to our many patrons for supporting Arts and Culture at the RCA for the past 20 years. See you soon at the Mary Irwin Theatre.
