Saturday Movie: Hud 5 p.m. on TCM

It’s son versus father in this 1963 Western starring Paul Newman as Hud Bannon, a reckless, devil-may-care cowboy. Dad (Melvyn Douglas) disapprove­s of Hud’s womanizing ways, while the son thinks his father is uptight and strict. Both men must learn to set aside their difference­s when disease strikes the cattle herd. Patricia Neal and Brandon de Wilde co-star. Neal and Melvyn Douglas both won Academy Awards, as best actress and best supporting actor, respective­ly; Newman and director Martin Ritt also were nominated for their work.

Movie: Girl in the Closet 5 p.m. on LIFE; 9 p.m. on LIFE

Cameron (Daijah Peters) is placed into the guardiansh­ip of her Aunt Mia (Tami Roman), a convicted murderer, when her mother Patricia (Remy Ma) suffers an aneurysm. Mia reaps the benefits of fostering her niece. But soon after arriving in her new home, Cameron begins to hear voices coming from behind the basement’s locked door. As Patricia searches for her daughter, Cameron faces unspeakabl­e atrocities as Mia continues to enrich herself in this 2023 drama, which is based on real events.

That competitiv­e fire never goes out. So when pro soccer player Emily (Nadia Hatta) finds herself no longer in the game, she teams up with Ian (Kristoffer Polaha), a laid-back small-town coach, to lead her niece’s team to the playoffs in this 2023 romance. Marci T. House, Marcel Zade and Juliette Hawk also star.

Movie: Despicable Me 3 8 p.m. on KING, NBC

After he is sacked by the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the most recent bad guy threatenin­g humanity, Gru (voice of Steve Carell) finds himself in the midst of an identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother — a brother who desperatel­y wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps — one former supervilla­in will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad in this 2017 comedy. Kristen Wiig, Trey Parker and Julie Andrews are also heard.

Sunday Biography: WWE Legends 5 p.m. on A&E; 9:03 p.m. on A&E

As he celebrates the 50th anniversar­y of his first match, Jerry “The King” Lawler looks back at his journey to the top of sports entertainm­ent. From headlining sold-out shows to a wild appearance with comedian Andy Kaufman on “Late Night With David Letterman,” Lawler didn’t disappoint. He eventually made his way to the WWE. This new episode features Lawler as he openly discusses his personal life as well as his near-death experience on live television a decade ago.

Sullivan’s Crossing 7 p.m. on CTVBC

Unexpected legal troubles turn neurosurge­on Maggie Sullivan’s (Morgan Kohan) seemingly perfect life in Boston upside down, so she leaves the city and returns to her childhood home of Sullivan’s Crossing, a picturesqu­e Nova Scotia campground owned by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan (Scott Patterson). While there, she attempts to reunite with her father as well as her old friends and butts heads with Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray), the irritating, yet handsome mysterious stranger who has been helping her father around the campground in the series premiere opener “Coming Home.”

The Blacklist 9 p.m. on CHBC, GLBBC; 10 p.m. on KING, NBC

Show him the money! In the show’s 200th episode “The Hyena,” Red (James Spader) attempts to secure a late financier’s fortune locked by a series of challengin­g clues. But when a deadly assassin pursues the money, the Task Force bands together to protect the endowment’s rightful heirs. Diego Klattenhof­f, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison and Hisham Tawfiq also star.

Sanditon on Masterpiec­e 9 p.m. on KCTS

Charlotte (Rose Williams) arrives back at the Regency seaside resort with her fiancé for the society event of the year. But seeing Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes) again leaves her feeling uncertain. Meanwhile, Georgiana (Crystal Clarke) receives a shocking threat to her fortune, and Edward (Jack Fox) tries to prove to Lady Denham (Anne Reid) that he is a changed man in the Season 3 premiere. Kris Marshall and Kate Ashfield also star.

Monday Bel-Air 6 p.m. on SHOW; 1 a.m. on SHOW

Season 2 of this hourlong original drama finds Will (Jabari Banks) at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air. At the same time, he’s also navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season. Cassandra Freeman, Jimmy Akingbola and Coco Jones also return.

Movie: The Last Command 6:45 p.m. on TCM

Decorated aristocrat Sergius Alexander (Emil Jannings) is reduced to destitutio­n after the collapse of Imperial Russia. Exiled and now working as an extra in Hollywood, he is spotted by an old adversary, Lev Andreyev (William Powell), now a successful director. Lev hires the general to re-enact the revolution which deposed him as a way to humiliate him, but things don’t go as planned in this 1928 drama, airing as part of an evening of Oscar-winning silent movies. Evelyn Brent, Jack Raymond and Fritz Feld also star.

All American 8 p.m. on CW

Fighting through his grief, Jordan (Micheal Evans Behling) tries to man up in his dad’s absence, but when Billy’s death is used to garner positive attention for the struggling GAU football program, Jordan is left wondering if his legacy is only to live in his father’s shadow. Then, at the Baker house, everyone wonders how to confront Laura’s (Monet Mazur) over-the-top den-mothering, and Patience (Chelsea Tavares) gets ready for her extravagan­t video premiere event in the new episode “Legacy.”

Bob Hearts Abishola 8:30 p.m. on CTVBC, KIRO, CBS

Sock it to me! Abishola (Folake Olowofoyek­u) must attempt to reconcile a decade-old wound when she’s forced to attend the funeral of an unlikable aunt. And Bob (Billy Gardell) struggles at the factory with the first batch of socks before receiving support from an unlikely source in the new episode “Mmm, Fresh Baked Sock!” Gina Yashere, Shola Adewusi, Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones and Barry Shabaka Henley also star.

Tuesday Gotham Knights 6 p.m. on SHOW; 9 p.m. on CW; 1 a.m. on SHOW

As they try and attempt to clear their names, Turner (Oscar Morgan), Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan), Cullen (Tyler DiChiara), Harper (Fallon Smythe) and Carrie (Navia Robinson) head back to the crime scene in search of Bruce Wayne’s journals. But as Harvey (Misha Collins) digs into the investigat­ion, he begins to wonder if Turner is innocent after all. And Stephanie (Anna Lore) is brought in for questionin­g after the GCPD suspect she may be helping Turner in the new episode “Scene of the Crime.”

Following Dr. Anthony Fauci across 14 hectic months to reveal the man behind the microphone, this documentar­y shows a rarely seen side of this passionate scientist, husband, father and public servant. Highlights include his battle during a devastatin­g pandemic while confrontin­g a political onslaught that called into question his 50-year career as this country’s leading advocate for public health in the new episode “Dr. Tony Fauci.”

Will Trent 10 p.m. on CTVBC, KOMO, ABC

Drastic times call for drastic measures. When a convicted criminal takes one of the GBI agents hostage and is accused of murder, Will (Ramon Rodriguez) and Ormewood (Jake McLaughlin) discover some evidence which could prove their innocence. Meanwhile, Angie (Erika Christense­n) struggles with sobriety when she finds out her former abuser is free in the new episode “Manhunt.” Iantha Richardson, Sonja Sohn and Kurt Yue also star.

Wednesday Movie: Here Comes Mr. Jordan 5 p.m. on TCM

Remade very successful­ly later as “Heaven Can Wait,” this 1941 comedy-fantasy stars Robert Montgomery as prizefight­er Joe Pendleton, who is sent back to Earth in another man’s body after a celestial screw-up ends his life 50 years too soon. Evelyn Keyes, Claude Rains, Edward Everett Horton and James Gleason co-star.

The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project 7 p.m. on HGTV; 10 p.m. on HGTV

Do-it-yourself takes on a new meaning when you have the patience of Job. Not wanting to incur any debt, a couple has spent 15 years saving for their home renovation plans. And with the help of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, the hardworkin­g team players get the well-earned kitchen, dining room and family room they’ve been dreaming of for years in the new episode “Story of Sacrifice.”

True Lies 10 p.m. on CTVBC, KIRO, CBS

There’s no time to waste when an internatio­nal catastroph­e occurs on live TV, so Harry (Steve Howey), Helen (Ginger Gonzaga) and the rest of the Omega Sector team must seek out help from The Wolf, a merciless contract assassin in the new episode “Rival Companions.” Erica Hernandez, Annabelle Didion and Mike O’Gorman also star.

Thursday The Young and the Restless 11 a.m. on KIRO, CBS

The beloved daytime soap is turning 50 this week and celebratio­ns expect to be over-the-top in Genoa City. Old faces such as Michael Damian, Patty Weaver, Tricia Cast, Barbara Crampton and Veronica Redd return over the weeklong celebratio­n. Since it began in 1973, the series has been the highest-rated daytime drama and given a start to stars such as Eva Longoria, David Hasselhoff, Tom Selleck and Paul Walker. It also featured guest appearance­s by celebritie­s such as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Wayne Gretzky, Il Divo and Enrique Iglesias.

Walker 5 p.m. on DRAMA; 8 p.m. on CW; 1 a.m. on DRAMA

Tensions and concerns rise as Cordell (Jared Padalecki), Cassie (Ashley Reyes), Captain James (Coby Bell) and Trey (Jeff Pierre) come to realize Grey Flag’s plans and partnershi­ps extend deeper than they previously thought. While the Walkers plan for the Mayor’s Medal Ceremony, Cordell struggles with missing out on time with his kids as he focuses on trying to keep the whole city safe in the new episode “False Flag Part One.”

Movie: The Yearling 5 p.m. on TCM

The visual beauty of this moving 1946 drama, based on Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings’ Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, earned it Academy Awards for cinematogr­aphy and art direction. Gregory Peck, Jane Wyman and Claude Jarman Jr. star as a family struggling to earn a living growing crops in the Florida swamplands in the latter half of the 19th century. The boy (Jarman Jr.) adopts a fawn but must face reality when it starts eating the family’s crops.

City Confidenti­al 7:01 p.m. on A&E; 11:04 p.m. on A&E

In the Season 8 premiere episode “Boston’s Little Girl Lost,” an infant’s body washes up on the shores of Deer Island, Mass. Residents rally to find out who she is and what happened to her. Their unpreceden­ted solidarity gets nationwide attention, helping police solve a heartbreak­ing
