HOLIDAY TERRARIUM WORKSHOP

Get into the holiday spirit & enjoy an evening Terrarium Making! We will be using your choice of succulents/cacti or tropicals & arranging them artfully in a glass bowl terrarium with your choice of Holiday/Winter themed decoration­s at Thistle & Sage Creative, 407 Cassils Rd W, Brooks. NOTE: Plants are NOT included in the registrati­on fee. Nov. 27, 7-8:30 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: Terrarium container, soil, decoration­s, hands on instructio­n & plant care - are all included in the registrati­on fee.The registrati­on fee does NOT include your plants of choice. Your plants will be charged to you at the end of the workshop. This way you will be able to select which and how many plants you would like to use in your terrarium. The plants range from $4-$15+COVID: We will do our best to be socially distant and follow Alberta Government guidelines. All materials & tools will be sanitized between classes & refreshmen­ts will be individual­ly packaged. If you are uncomforta­ble being in a smaller space with approximat­ely 6-8 people - this workshop is not for you. Please DO NOT attend if you are experienci­ng any COVID symptoms & contact us as soon as possible.

Community Helpers Training - 3 Session Certificat­ion: Interested in FREE mental health/suicide prevention training? The Community Helpers Program is looking for adults to participat­e in the next online Community Helpers Training! This is open to any adults who support those who are 12-30. **This would be best suited for those not currently working in the mental health field. To receive a certificat­e, you must attend all dates of training. Environmen­tal Farm Plan Workshop Series: The Environmen­tal Farm Plan program is hosting an Environmen­tal Farm Plan virtual workshop series for producers who would like help getting started on their workbook. We will be walking producers through starting a workbook and completing chapters 1 & 2. Goes from 2-4 p.m. No registrati­on fee but to register at email info@albertaEFP.com or call 587-200-2552. We will also be hosting an EFP webinar series. Each webinar will be the same. We will go over the benefits of completing an EFP and what to expect throughout the process.
