S3 Air Systems, located in Swift Current, launched the latest in aeration technology with its S3 Booster Fan on December 7, 2020.

“There is a rule of thumb in the industry that if you have a 5,000 bushel bin you need a 5 Hp aeration fan. The reality is there is a difference between aeration in

July when it is 100 degrees outside and in November when it is almost freezing. Different crops in different conditions have different aeration needs. Rather than replace an undersized fan with a larger model, the S3 Booster Fan gives the farmer the flexibility to add an aeration boost where it’s needed when it’s needed” states S3 Air Systems Director of Business Development, Kelly Silbernagel.

Clamping on to an existing inline aeration fan, the S3 Booster Fan doubles the air pressure and supercharges the CFM of the original fan, allowing the drying front to move through the bin faster. When done, the farmer can move the S3 Booster Fan to a different bin or store it away for a future need.

“With all of the hard work, planning, and investment that goes into growing a crop, it makes sense to protect that crop when it’s in the bin. Especially in the years when it is taking everything you have got just to get through harvest, the S3 Booster Fan is a simple solution to give a farmer piece of mind” adds Al Marques, General Manager of S3 Air Systems.

As part of the S3 family of companies, S3 Air Systems Inc. brings decades of experience in engineered air power solutions. For more information about S3, visit www.S3enterprises.com
