Lethbridge Volkswagen Oktoberfes­t YQL is back for it's 5th year of great German Beer, great German Food and amazing entertainm­ent. We have expanded to Exhibition Park this year to expand and grow the festival and are excited to turn the main pavilion into a Bier Haus. The Gem of the West Museum Society is pleased to be hosting the 23rd annual Carol Festival. Doors open 6:30 p.m., performanc­e begins at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy the music of the season from talented local choirs, singers, and musicians! Admission by donation.

December 8 — Milk River

Community Christmas Party presented by the Town of Milk River. Get your tickets today and enjoy live entertainm­ent by Milk River's own Border Bound, a catered meal by Laura Balog, and a cash bar operated by the Milk River fire department. Door prizes, 50/50, and the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for a shot at winning a prize in the contest. The Christmas party takes place on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Milk River Civic Centre.
