Lethbridge Volkswagen Oktoberfest YQL is back for it's 5th year of great German Beer, great German Food and amazing entertainment. We have expanded to Exhibition Park this year to expand and grow the festival and are excited to turn the main pavilion into a Bier Haus. Strengthening Volunteer Boards: Would you like to enhance your skills as a Board Member? Volunteer Lethbridge, in partnership with the Board Development Program are offering a session that will equip you with tools to answer the questions you have about the role of a Board Member. The session will be held from8:30 am -4:30 p.m.) at the office of Volunteer Lethbridge. Cost to Volunteer Lethbridge members $25; non-members $35 (lunch included). Also featuring soloist Dana Wall from Vauxhall, and inspirational speaker Elaine McDonald from Calgary, as she talks about “A Changed Life.” Cost is $15 per person. CCVO is convening a Stakeholder Roundtable for nonprofit professionals in Lethbridge to help determine sector priorities and develop a roadmap that will serve as a foundation for a provincial data strategy. The Gem of the West Museum Society is pleased to be hosting the 23rd annual Carol Festival. Doors open 6:30 p.m., performance begins at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy the music of the season from talented local choirs, singers, and musicians! Admission by donation.
December 8 — Milk River
Community Christmas Party presented by the Town of Milk River. Get your tickets today and enjoy live entertainment by Milk River's own Border Bound, a catered meal by Laura Balog, and a cash bar operated by the Milk River fire department. Door prizes, 50/50, and the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for a shot at winning a prize in the contest. The Christmas party takes place on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Milk River Civic Centre. Doors open at 6 pm. dinner at 7 p.m, and the entertainment starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $40 and available at the Milk River town office. All proceeds raised goes to ERHS and MRES.
