Zellweger’s new squeeze an old pal
Renee Zellweger, last seen breaking up with Bradley Cooper, has been dating an old University of Texas buddy, Doyle Bramhall II, since last summer. The Los Angeles Times says he’s a guitarist and producer, which after all sounds so much better than “out of work.” He dated Sheryl Crow at one point.
Anyway, apparently he and the Zellster didn’t date in college, but have kept in touch for 20 years. And now this.
She’s 42. He’s 44.
Most eligible bachelor: A.J. McCarron is a college football player, quarterback for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. His girlfriend is Katherine Webb, Miss Alabama USA (proving again the adage).
Anyway this guy Darnell Dockett, a pro player with the Arizona Cardinals, started quite a fuss when, on Twitter, he jokingly asked Webb on a date. (Stick with me, this is great.)
Then a sports talk show, on XTRA radio in Phoenix, asked Dockett about it. Here’s his answer, courtesy of sportsradiointerviews.com.
“If I really wanted to get his girl, there’s a bunch of different ways I’d have went about it. And I would have got her if I really wanted her. But I don’t think she’s my type. I’m not into the thinner girls and the modelling thing like that. I like hood chicks. I like girls with a couple stab wounds, bullet holes, been knocked up a few times … I like girls who you know have bad credit when they’re 21.”
Sorry, ladies, I don’t have his number.

Acknowledging that she didn’t quite mean that literally, she went on to say “I’m not that crazy. But I am an artist.”
