Good manners score at Soccer Day event

On Saturday, I had the privilege of participating in the Soccer Day in Saskatchewan pre-game festivities at Confederation Park. I was volunteering at the KidSport table.

Turnout for the event was great, with many immigrant and non-immigrant families learning about soccer and other opportunities.

As children and parents came by our booth for information and souvenir handouts, I was amazed at how polite the children were. All the parents and children thanked us for the “goodies.”

It was also a pleasure to see that almost all the children were fit and not obese.
