Two more suspects facing murder charges in death of man in 2016

-

Two men are now facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the 2016 death of 21-year-old Logan Ring.

Previously, three Swift Current women were arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

On Thursday, Colin Perrault, 49, turned himself at the RCMP detachment office where he was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Todd Donaldson, 48, was arrested without incident at a Swift Current business and charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Jolene Denise Epp, 38, Tanisha Lynn Perrault, 19, and Rebecca Lynn Kuhlman, 25, were each arrested earlier this week without incident and charged with seconddegree murder. They all made first appearances in Swift Current provincial court this week.

The two men are to make their first court appearances next week.

According to the RCMP, all of the accused were known to Ring and all of the accused are known to each other.

A search warrant conducted on Monday was in relation to this investigation.

“I can’t imagine how difficult the past 11 months have been for Logan Ring’s loved ones; our thoughts are with them during what must have been a very difficult week. While we can’t provide further details about the investigation, I can confirm that it is ongoing,” RCMP Staff Sgt. Murray Chamberlin said in a news release.

Ring, 21, was found dead on Nov. 17, 2016, around 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Saskatchewan Landing provincial park’s Rings, Ruts and Remnants Interpretive Trail, just off Highway 4 on the south shore of Lake Diefenbaker.

Ring was found “in close proximity” to a 1991 blue Ford Explorer that was registered to him, according to RCMP last November.

Saskatchewan Landing provincial park is about 50 kilometres north of Swift Current.
