Desert Justice series combines suspense, romance.
I read across the spectrum but somehow in writing I gravitate often to romantic suspense. My love of danger and all things mysterious, purely in the literary way, started early.
As a child, my father’s career as a police officer may have fanned that interest, influencing me well into my adult years. Then, seeing my Dad with handcuffs and a handgun was normal.
While other children were told not to talk to strangers, I was told to get a good description of the suspect and report home.
Suspense came easily — thank my Dad or Nancy Drew. Combine suspense with romance, add an exotic setting or two, and you’ve a recipe for a story.
As often as I can, I like to use places where I’ve travelled as the backdrop for deadly villains and intrepid heroes and heroines, who battle for their right to live or even love, in a place that neither or all may call home.
My most recent romantic suspense, is not one book but four. Desert Justice is the name of the series and it’s published by Harlequin. The Al-Nassar brothers have it all; power and wealth.
Their security agency provides investigative and protective services to its clients. From Morocco to Wyoming they take each case to the edge and back.
