BRIDGE WORKSHOPS
The Regina Bridge Club invites players who want to improve their game to its Friday night workshops in November at 349 Albert St. They begin at 6:30 p.m., and teaching topics for the four Fridays will include doubles, pre-empts, strong two club opener and slam bidding. HELP A RESCUE DOG
The Saskatchewan Dachshund Club is holding Santa’s pop-up market on Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1530 Broadway Ave. Admission is free. There will be characters from Disney and Marvel superheroes, Santa for photos, a raffle, 50/50 draw, and more than 20 unique vendors.
Money raised will go toward the cost of the dental surgery needed by a rescue dog in care of the club.
CABBAGE ROLLS FOR SALE
St. Peter’s CWL is making and selling cabbage rolls in November. They are made with pork/beef, rice, onions and a combination of spices. They are rolled in green cabbage leaves, and are uncooked for selling. The cost is $13 per dozen. Orders should be in by Nov.17. Pickup is from St. Peter’s Church Nov. 25-26.

PROSTATE CANCER MEETING
The Regina chapter of the Prostate Cancer Canada Network is holding a support and information meeting on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatchewan Division, 1910 McIntyre St.
The meeting is open to anyone who has prostate cancer or has been affected by it. There is no charge or registration required to attend. Both men and women are welcome to attend.
