‘DRAGON’ AT CFA DINNER

The keynote speaker at the 26th annual CFA Society Saskatchew­an Forecast Dinner on Jan. 16 is David Chilton, bestsellin­g author of The Wealthy Barber and a former Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den.

LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH

The Spanish Language School, a non-profit organizati­on, offers free Spanish classes for children every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Balfour Collegiate.

Beginner, intermedia­te and advanced Spanish classes for adults are also offered once a week, on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost for a 12-week course is $200, plus $30 for the book. The classes start the week of Jan. 15. Registrati­ons for all levels are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

ROBBIE BURNS CEILIDH

The Sons of Scotland, Camp Balmoral No. 177 is selling tickets for its Robbie Burns Tartan Ceilidh, to be held Jan. 20.

Cocktails are at 5:30 p.m., and supper and entertainm­ent begins at 6:30 p.m. at St. Martin’s Parish Hall, 4720 Castle Rd.

The cost is $40 for non-members, $35 for members, $20 for kids aged six to 12, and $300 for a corporate table of eight.
