The University of Regina Students’ Union is holding a pie-in-the-face fundraiser in support of Hope’s Home.
For $10, “introduce” local celebrities to a pie. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 29 in the hallway at Riddell Centre.
The Regina Elks is hosting a jam and dance on Sat., Jan. 27, at 4915 1st Ave. N. The jam starts at 4 p.m., then the dance at 8 p.m. with J.D. Whiskey Bent. Supper is available for $10. Admission is $5 for those who are not jamming. Information at 306-999-0138.

All Nations Healin’ Thru Artz begins its 2018 programming on Jan. 31 at 3040 5th Ave. Youths aged 13 to 22 can attend at 4 p.m. for a free supper at the Bannock House, followed by two hours of drama class. The program runs Mondays through Thursdays, 4 to 7 p.m., and has a different artistic focus each day, including Indigenous cultural teachings. Information at www.anhta.org.
Concertino Regina presents an evening with Brahms and Arensky on Sat., Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Westminster United Church, 3025 13th Ave.
The repertoire includes Brahms Cello Sonata #1 in e minor, performed by Cameron Lowe, cello, with Natalia Chabukiani, piano; Brahms Violin Sonata #3 performed by Elizabeth Sihua, violin, with Natalia Chabukiani, piano; and the Arensky Trio, to be played by all three performers. Admission is free though donations are appreciated.
