Police probe fatal collision between vehicle, train near Delisle

RCMP are investigating SASKATOON a fatal collision between a vehicle and a train on Sunday evening. Warman RCMP and Delisle firefighters and EMS responded to the scene south of Delisle around 6:45 p.m., according to an RCMP news release.

RCMP said a man from Delisle, the 33-year-old driver and the vehicle’s only occupant, died at the scene.

His name will not be released. RCMP said the investigation is ongoing with the assistance of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.

Delisle is located about 42 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon.
