March 29 to 30 Cancer Crushers Annual Bake Sale

The Cancer Crushers Relay for Life team will hold its annual bake sale featuring goodies such as rice krispy treats, cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, candy, cupcakes and more.

March 31 Cancer is a Drag

Seven’s Bar and Restaurant Ballroom, 8 to 11:30 p.m.

The Magic City Misfits are back with the second drag show of 2018. A portion of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society (ACS) as part of the Relay for Life. Cash bar (21+). Please note that some content, such as language or themes, may not be suitable for younger audiences.

April 7 Lions German Fest

Sevens Banquet Room, 6 to 10 p.m.

Featuring a fun-filled German experience with all-you-can-eat authentic German meal and beer, live music and dancing. Proceeds go to both Lions Clubs of Minot for serviceA projects throughout the year.

April 8 Think&Drink: Justice in Harry Potter

The Tap Room, 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Think&Drink is a humanities happy-hour series where the general public gathers to discuss a variety of topics, led by a scholar and moderator. One free drink is included in the ticket cost.

April 13 and 14 The Big One Art & Craft Fair

North Dakota State Fair Center, Fri. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Big One Art & Craft Fair has provides a venue for artists, crafters and bakers to sell products they hand make.

A mix of Farmer’s Market, Makers Market, Pop-up Business, Community Outreach, Art Fair and more.

April 14 Internatio­nal Military Ball

Grand Hotel, 6 p.m.

The 30th Military Ball, a formal event with entertainm­ent and a gourmet meal, including a receiving line with commanders of Minot Air Force Base and Canadian counterpar­ts. Cost is $75 per person, available through the Minot Chamber of Commerce.

Holiday Inn Riverside, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The weekend will be full of fitness workout classes, vendors and a certificat­ion course in a BeachBody program. In addition, Shaun T, celebrity fitness trainer, will lead a class on Saturday morning.
