A consignmen­t sale of children’s

toys, clothes and other items will be held Saturday, 8-11:30 a.m., at Heritage United Church, 1050 N. Arnason St. Sales support church programmin­g, as well as donations to community organizati­ons.

An Easter Celebratio­n of Song

will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace, 425 Broad St. N. Various musicians will perform, and refreshmen­ts and cookies will be served. A free-will offering will be accepted.

Jenine Demyen will discuss designing

edible landscapes at the White City Garden Club meeting on April 11, 7 p.m., at the Emerald Park Ramada Hotel. Admission for nonmembers is $5.

The Regina chapter of the

Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St. The topic of discussion is Options Sexually After Prostate Cancer Treatments. The meeting is open to men and women. There is no admission fee or registrati­on required to attend. Local organizers are seeking citizen guides to explore Regina on foot and share their perspectiv­e with others. Angels 4 Warmth is requesting

yarn donations for knitting and crocheting. The volunteer organizati­on creates and distribute­s more than 1,000 items of warmth each month to needy people in Regina. Drop donations off at Lorne Drugs, 2255 14th Ave., or the Regina Senior Citizen Centre, 2134 Winnipeg St.
