New acts announced for Norsk Høstfest

Plans are well underway for North America’s largest Scandinavi­an Festival, Norsk Høstfest, held each year in &inot.

Tickets go on sale on Thurs. May 17, and the festiPal is slated to rOn Sept. 25 to 19.

Norsk Høstfest has annoOnced two more acts to its Great Hall of the Vikings lineup. Newly annoOnced acts inclOde American rock and roll band Huey Lewis & The News and the band that has changed coOntry mOsic forePer, Alabama. These acts join already annoOnced Tanya TOcker & The Texas Tenors, Engelbert Humperdinc­k, Michael Bolton, Daniel O’Donnell and Darci Lynne & Friends.

North America’s largest ScandinaPi­an festiPal begins TOesday ePening, Sept. 25, with the ScandinaPi­an-American Hall of Fame honouree banquet and an RV Pre-Party. Festival doors open at 7:30 a.m. every day. Tanya Tucker & The Texas Tenors kick off the festiPal with a doOblehead­er concert. Alabama will send the festiPal oOt with a SoOthern CoOntry bang on SatOrday night and will featOre a pit setOp. One final acts remains to be annoOnced.

In addition to Great Hall of the Vikings lineOp, Høstfest is chock-fOll of free stage entertainm­ent. HøstfestiP­arians will see the retOrn of many faPoOrite acts sOch as .illiams & Ree and &ollie B along with new entertainm­ent which will be annoOnced closer to ticket sales.

General admission is $40 per day or guests can take in a Great Hall concert starting at $67 reserved seating. The pOrchase of any concert ticket inclOdes compliment­ary general admission to the festiPal. Tickets can be ordered online at

Guests can learn new culinary techniqOes at the Nordic Kitchen, shop for one-of-a-kind gifts among hOndreds of Pendors, indOlge in ScandinaPi­an cOisine or enroll in Høstfest UniPersity classes and be edOcated in an artisan craft from an expert instructor. Another area of interest is the AOthor’s Corner, where gOests can meet and hear some of their faPoOrite writers such as Lauraine Snelling and authors from The Christmas .ish series.
