Sask. Party doing little for province
I am really quite tired of the Saskatchewan Party indicating they are standing up for Saskatchewan. They are doing nothing of the sort.
Our economy is faltering, and there are cuts to health care and social services.
They cut out the provincial bus line; yes, it was a moneylosing enterprise, but so is the ‘Global Waste of Money’ (Global Transportation
Hub).
The bus line was a vital transportation link for the elderly and disabled in rural areas. We have the secondlowest minimum wage and the second-highest HIV rate in Canada.
How is this looking after Saskatchewan? P3s are not working correctly, ‘lean’ was a huge waste of money. Teachers are doing more with less.
They use out-of-province contractors; sure they hire some Saskatchewan people, but the profits leave Saskatchewan.
Moose Jaw MLAS have done nothing for Moose Jaw. Lots of good-paying jobs have left the city, which were mostly unionized, no surprise.
The Moose Jaw North
MLA also indicated that his government has a three-year plan to reduce dependence on resource revenue, then his government encouraged further growth with a four-year Mineral Development Strategy to encourage mineral exploration, and the Fraser Institute in 2017 ranked Saskatchewan second out of 91 for world mining investment.
Also, the Sask. Party continues to explore ways to maintain and improve the competitiveness of the oil and gas industry.
The right hand does not know what left hand is doing.
All while standing up for Saskatchewan.
How gullible do they think we are? Quite a bit, by the looks of it.
