CHANEL LONG-LASTING EYELINER IN BLANC GRAPHIQUE
They say: Part of the fall-winter 2019 Collection from CHANEL titled Noir et Blanc, this waterproof and smudge-proof eye pencil features a soft grey shade that brightens eyes. The silicone-enriched formula glides on smooth and provides “long-lasting definition.”
We say: Our tester used this soft grey pencil along the waterline of her lower lashes to make her eyes appear more awake and bright. Unlike true white pencils, which can appear chalky, this shade provides just the right pop. $35 | CHANEL counters; chanel.com
OLE HENRIKSEN PHAT GLOW FACIAL MASK
They say: An “age-fighting face mask” that features “potent” PHAS and Nordic birch sap to exfoliate, illuminate and brighten skin.
We say: Our tester tried this mask after cleansing her skin. Massaging it in, as directed, until the formula transformed from a pink to a white shade, she then left it on for 15 minutes. The product felt nice on skin — it wasn’t tingly or stingy — and it removed easily with a wash cloth. It left skin feeling smooth, reduced the appearance of pores and helped with hydration.

URIAGE EAU THERMALE AQUAPRÉCIS GEL CREAM
They say: A facial moisturizing gel-cream formula from the French derma-cosmetics brand Uriage that features thermal water ingredients to provide an “immediate fresh sensation and customized, lasting hydration.”
We say: Our tester was very pleased with this moisturizer. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, it left her skin feeling quenched. The gel-cream texture was spa-like and the product was gentle on skin. $33 | Shoppers Drug Mart; beauty.shoppersdrugmart.ca
