THE IT LIST

-

The product: Everlane at Nordstrom.

Why we love it: Everlane has amassed a huge online following — ahem, as in nearly 830,000 followers on Instagram alone — and for good reason. The San Francisco-headquartered fashion company emphasizes “quality, ethically and sustainably made basics.” Oh, and “radical transparency,” too.

While the primarily ecommerce brand operates a few stores in the U.S., it’s yet to enter the Canadian market in a bricks-and-mortar fashion. And that’s what makes the return of Everlane to the Pop-in@

Nordstrom space at Nordstrom Pacific Centre so exciting.

“We initially introduced Everlane to our customers in 2017 and had an amazing response. Everlane has evolved so much in the past two years and I’m excited to bring them back for the latest iteration of Popin@nordstrom,” Olivia Kim, Nordstrom’s vice-president of creative projects, said in a news release.

“I continue to believe in Everlane’s mission to provide everyone around the world with well-designed, high quality basics with a strong commitment to sustainability. It’s an important opportunity for our customers to stay informed and educated on where their products come from.”

Through Nov. 17, a selection of Everlane items, including outerwear made using recycled plastic, carbon-neutral shoes and the “world’s cleanest” denim, will be on offer. In addition to the pop-up shop in Vancouver, the Everlane offering will be available in Canada at Toronto’s Eaton Centre.

The price: $24 for a Cotton Boxcut Pocket Tee to $370 for a Double-breasted Coat.
