Aquazzura de Gournay

On March 4th, during the excitement of Paris fashion week, was a celebration of a new capsule shoe collection. Aquazzura collaborated with de Gournay, a luxury fabric and wallpaper maker, to create a collection of jungle-inspired shoes for MatchesFashion.com. Taking inspiration from Aquazzura founder Edgardo Osorio’s Colombian background while channelling de Gournay’s spirit, they created a plethora of exotic prints featuring monkeys and birds to form a one-of-a-kind pink jungle collection. Guests including Arizona Muse, Ruth Chapman, and Anna Cleveland gathered at the de Gournay showroom in Saint-Germain for a cocktail party and then headed to an intimate dinner at Hôtel d’Évreux in Place Vendôme. The five pairs of shoes in the capsule are slated to go on sale in May exclusively on MatchesFashion.com.
