Commonwealth Games for Loran

Gymnastics Saskatchewan announced on Thursday that Anderson Loran of Saskatoon will compete at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to Aug. 3.

The 23-year-old trains at the Taiso Gymnastics Club under head coach Markos Baikas. Loran has previously competed at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, where he was the top Canadian men’s finisher, winning a silver medal on high bar. He also won silver medals on floor and high bar at the recent Canadian championships in Ottawa.
