Landeryou loses in quarter-finals

Saskatoon’s Tim Landeryou lost his quarter-final match at the International Raquetball Federation world cham- pionship on Thursday in Burlington, Ont.

The 30-year-old Landeryou lost 15-6, 15-12 to Carlos Keller of Bolivia in men’s singles action.

Landeryou has previously won a doubles and men’s team silver medal at the 2010 world championship, and repeated the feat in the men’s team event at the 2012 world championships. He won doubles gold at the 2010 Pan Ams.

Regina’s Christine Richardson lost her women’s singles quarter-final match 15-6, 15-1 to Maria Jose Vargas of Argentina.
