DeLaet T-76 at Travelers

Weyburn’s Graham DeLaet has a ways to go if he wants to match his score from the last Travelers Championship.

After finishing all alone in third at last year’s PGA Tour event, DeLaet is tied for 76th this year, at even par.

DeLaet had four birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey on the opening day and trails leader Brendan Steele by eight strokes.

The the top Canadian is Brad Fritsch of Edmonton, who is tied for ninth.

The tournament continues until Sunday.
