Builder in Brighton creates family homes with open spaces and private places
Ehrenburg Homes opened its new show home at 216 Secord Way, located in Brighton, on Sept. 10 to crowds of visitors. More than 1,500 people went through the show home on the first day, according to Ehrenburg’s Daryl Quesnel.
Since then traffic has been steady through the brand new model, called the Havenburg.
As Quesnel describes the floor plan, “It’s a modern, traditional family home. It’s got wide open spaces for kitchen, dining and living areas.”
One of the unique features of the 2,100-square-foot Havenburg is a private den just off the main front entrance. It’s perfect for an office to keep track of a small business or a cozy library or hobby room.
The oversized island topped with bright quartz will host plenty of family dinners. Custom cabinetry and tiled backsplash create a modern looking and functional kitchen.
All of the expected luxury home features are here — such as hardwood floors with a matte finish for durability and beauty and quartz countertops.
As well, oversized 12-by-24 grey tile and a neutral grey-toned walls make the home move-in ready.
Upstairs, a bonus room with a fireplace gives homeowners some options when it comes to entertaining.
“It’s a little family area for an upstairs TV room. Kids could be up here using this as a game room or something while the parents are downstairs with people over,” said Quesnel.
The master bedroom is large enough to accommodate a kingsized bed easily with an ensuite and oversized walk-in closet.
Bedrooms two and three upstairs are also very spacious for a growing family. A washer and dryer upstairs will make laundry time a breeze. The home also has a finished and drywalled garage, plus is outfitted with an audio system.
The show home backs onto the ample green space in Brighton, which means the extra-large windows of the living room and dining room will overlook greenery.
Listed at $649,900, the Tudorstyle exterior uses a blend a hardiboard panelling and trim with vinyl siding, giving it some striking curb appeal.
Ehrenburg is also excited to be part of the Brighton Parade of Homes.
“This is a tremendously exciting area for us,” said Quesnel. “There’s an awesome product mix here — from executive to family to starter homes. It’s a professionally designed area. It’s going to be incredible.”
Once complete Brighton will include 8,400 homes, along with commercial developments. Quesnel added, “There will be a lot of people who will be working in this community as well as living here.”
Erhenburg’s showhome at 216 Secord Way in Brighton is open for viewing Monday to Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from noon until 5 p.m.
