Expert panel will share advice on legacy giving at annual luncheon
The decision to make a legacy gift is very personal and involves careful thought and consideration. Who is most important in your life? What causes are closest to your heart? What values do you live by? What problems in your community and beyond would you like to help address? What would you like to accomplish with your legacy gift?
Answering these questions will help you make decisions about where you wish to make your legacy gift. But what should you do once you have decided where you would like to give a future gift? Conversations at this stage are key to ensuring that your wishes are carried out as you want them to be.
Who should you talk to and how can they help? There are many individuals who can assist you in making your legacy wishes a reality, including your lawyer, financial advisor, charitable representatives, and family members.
