Hiroshima/Nagasaki Peace
Day Celebration: Please join the Saskatoon Peace Coalition and the Japanese community for the annual Hiroshima/Nagasaki Peace Day celebration Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Grace-Westminster United Church to commemorate the dropping of the atomic bomb on two cities in Japan. The Pied Pipes of Saskatoon: Come and enjoy the sounds of some of Saskatoon’s finest pipe organs at three noon-hour concerts. Aug. 14 — GraceWestminster United Church, Aug. 16 — Christ Church Anglican, Aug. 18 — Third Avenue United Church. All concerts begin at 12:15 p.m. Admission by donation.
