Phyllis Fiddler
April 24, 1940 - September 22, 2017
Phyllis Fiddler passed away at Royal University Hospital at the age of 77 years. She is forever missed and grieved by her husband Clarence Fiddler; son Terry (Rosie) Fiddler and their daughter Autumn; daughter Donna Evans; daughter Shelley Smith, her daughter Christine and her children Kallie, Karson and Kayson; daughter Bonnie (Owen) Hartman, their children Barbara Hartman and her daughter Raychel, Sabrina Hartman, her sons Greggory, Mathew and Zachary, Andrew Hartman and Sierra Hartman, her son Ashton; daughter Darcie Fiddler (David Taylor); daughter Cheryl (Blair) Bentley, their children Cody and Brayden; daughter Tami Basko, her children Jaeden and Tanner; grandchildren Katherine (Jason) Bennett and Patricia Evans and her children Cailey and Caitlyn; brother Gary (Chris) Schwan; sister Dianne Goodwin; brother-in-law Roger Malmgren; sister-in-law Betty Schwan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Don Lane; parents Ted and Bernadette Schwan; sister Audrey Malmgren; brother Gordon Schwan; and brother-in-law Danny Goodwin. Phyllis was an amazing mother, wife, and friend. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her main reasons for living. She was so proud of her family and thought the world of all of them. One of her passions was caring for elderly people for over 20 years, running her own private care home. Phyllis had so much compassion and a heart of gold. After her care home, she took in foster children for several years. Wife, Mom, Grandma, thank-you for showing us how to love and how to be strong. It broke our heart to lose you, but we know you are at peace and have no more suffering. We love you Mom! It was her wish that no service would be held.
