To forgive is human, but to err Devine

-

In the beginning, there was a Progressive Conservative government. Their Devine leader declared:

“Spend the people’s money and prosper.”

“Do unto Crown corporations whatsoever will destroy them!”

The people rose up and drove the Devine leader out of power.

Never again would the Progressive Conservative party form a government in Saskatchewan.

From those ashes there arose the Sask. Party. They breathed not a word of the Devine roots from which they came. Their new leader declared: “Speak not of privatization but rather prosperity!”

“Speak not of mounting debt but rather megaprojects!”

There was no prophecy of doom for the Crown corporations.

It came to pass that the people began to trust. But the Sask. Party deceived the people with hidden agendas and false promises.

On March 22, 2017, it was revealed that the Sask. Party believed the Devine leader. Indeed, they spent the people’s money and their friends did prosper.

Indeed, they will destroy Crown corporations.

Now the new leader came to the end of his career.

“What have you done with the time you were given?” asked the Keeper of the Gate.

“I was Leader in all the Land,” he replied.

“It is written that you used your power to deceive the people. You took from the richness of the land and wasted it.”

So the leader was banished forever to the outermost regions of Saskatchewan, doomed to search forever for a ride back to the land from which he came.

Never again would the Sask. Party be trusted in Saskatchewan.
