There are lots of new wallets, too, that include built-in chargers and extra security protection. Choose a bright new colour like red, the favourite colour of the season, to make finding credentials fast even easier.
• The Fashionista: Chances are, this friend will be covered up in fuzzy fur this fall and winter. And her handbag will be no different. Or she’ll tote around a statement-making logo bag branded with her favourite designer’s name or a graphic design stamped onto the bag emblazoned with stars or stripes or graffiti art. In other words, the embellished handbag will be the “it” bag of the season, and even though it may only be around for a year, it’s all about putting the fun back in fashion.
• The Brunch Bunch: These girlfriends are also about having a good time, but they get a little more serious about it. Their handbags for fall are shaping up to be a little more vintageinspired. Boxy, top-handle bags like the ones our grandmothers relied on are the accessories to buy now, especially if you’re making an investment.
