Thirty-four-yard TD from Bo Levi Mitchell to Kamar Jorden at 3:32 of first

The Stampeders opened the scoring with a gamble on thirdand-three when Mitchell hit Kamar Jorden for a touchdown to open the scoring. The decision was made to go for it because the conditions made it difficult to punt.

The reception by Jorden, who had a clear path to end zone once he pulled in the pass along the sidelines completed an eightplay 75-yard drive that took 4:23 off the clock.

Offensive plays were hard to come by because of the weather, but DaVaris Daniels got it started by hauling in a 24-yard pass to get the drive started.

The Stamps failed on a twopoint convert so the Calgary took a 6-0 lead.

Ricky Ray completes 100-yard pass and run for TD to DeVier Posey

On the first play of the second quarter, the Argos served notice they weren’t going to be a pushover in this Cup game.

Ray completed a 100-yard TD pass to Posey when he got behind Calgary defensive back Tommie Campbell and streaked down the sidelines for the longest reception for a score in Grey Cup history.

Nobody saw it coming because both teams had been struggling offensively and it came only 16 seconds into the quarter. The weather played havoc with the kickers as the convert attempt missed wide. Tied it up 6-6

Dave Dickenson challenge for pass interference in third quarter

This ended up being a huge play for the Stamps.

It came at 6:40 of the quarter after Mitchell’s pass intended for Jorden was knocked down by Toronto’s Cassius Vaughn.

Stamps’ Dave Dickenson decided to challenge for pass interference and after review by the CFL’s command centre it was ruled that was the case, which resulted in a 31-yard gain for the Stamps.

On the next play from the sixyard-line, Messam took it into the end zone and then the Stamps pulled ahead 24-16 after the extra point. Calgary was good at trying to put out any momentum the Argos seemed to get.

That completed an 88-yard drive that took 10 plays.

Jorden fumble sets up 110-yard TD run with 4:35 remaining

Just when it looked like the Stamps were going to march away with the win, Jorden had the ball stripped out of its hand by Vaughn right at the-goal line.

He went down the sidelines pretty much untouched and then Ray completed the two-point convert. That tied it up 24-24 and sent the Stamps into a state of shock.

The Stamps had been driving the ball down the field and they looked like they were going to be well in control of this one. It set up what was another classic CFL finish between the East and West division champions.

5

Lirim Hajrullahu kicks the winning 32-yard field goal

The Argos complete the comeback in dramatic fashion.

First, they get the huge fumble return and then put together the winning drive in the dying minutes by moving the ball down the field.

That sets up the winning field goal by Hajrullahu with 53 seconds left on the clock to give the Argos their first lead of the game. Give Ray and the offence credit for driving the ball down the field when Toronto needed it the most.

The Stamps put together a drive on the next series but Matt Black picks it off in the end zone to seal the victory for the Argos.

Calgary suffers Grey Cup disappointment for the second straight year.
