LOTS OF SPACE IN RAINIER SHOW HOME BY MONTANA

If you’ve never visited the Rainier floor plan by Montana Homes then you’re in for a treat at 367 Underhill Bend.

At 1,923 square feet, it’s notable how much extra space there is in all corners of the home. Josh Ostapowich from Montana Homes says this floor plan continues to be a favourite.

“This particular layout is very family-friendly. When you come in through the ( garage) entry, which they’ll probably use most of the time, they’re greeted by this really welcoming bench and cabinet system for all your coats and toques and mitts,” explains Ostapowich.

The locker system is great for keeping children and their coats, boots and other outdoor gear organized. The mud room opens to a walk-through pantry to the kitchen.

“If you’re busy and you’re living the family life and you’ve got both arms full of groceries you’ve got a walk-through pantry, so it’s nice and convenient,” adds Ostapowich.

In the front entrance there’s plenty of room to greet guests and the expansive oversized white tiles keep it bright and airy.

The main living area boasts an open concept floor plan — bookended by a navy blue wall on one side and a cozy fireplace on the other.

Quartz counters top a largerthan-average denim blue island. The dark hue makes the gold hardware really stand out.

Glass doors on some of the cabinets enable owners to get a little more ornamental with their dishes. Plus the stainless steel hood and white backsplash create a striking focus for the kitchen.

“It makes this kind of a feature wall on this side,” notes Ostapowich.

In addition to the open space, there’s an extra flex room right beside the kitchen. This room can be walled off for an office, play area or even an extra bedroom, according to Ostapowich. An extra bedroom can be an attractive feature for those with aging parents.

The show home at 367 Underhill Bend uses a small wall to partition off the space.

Upstairs the theme of extra room continues when you’re greeted by a large bonus room at the top of the stairs. Whether you create a play area for kids, a study area for teenagers, or spot to schedule family movie night, the bonus will definitely be attractive to those looking for a family home. The bonus room also divides the extra bedrooms from the owners’ suite.

The master suite includes a large bedroom, bathroom and walkthrough closet that gives easy access to the second floor laundry room.

If you need to unwind, there’s an inviting soaker tub under a small chandelier. Speakers wired throughout the house mean you’ll be able to enjoy some down time with your own music selections.

Listed at $519,900, this spacious family home located in Brighton will definitely attract attention.

This Montana show home at 367 Underhill Bend is open for viewing Monday to Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m.
