Crash victims remembered at celebratio­ns of life, burials and memorials

People in Saskatoon gathered on Monday to celebrate the life of Humboldt Broncos player Evan Thomas.

Several other communitie­s will gather to say goodbye to Jaxon Joseph, Logan Hunter, Parker Tobin, Stephen Wack, Conner Lukan, Mark Cross and Dayna Brons this week.

They were among the 16 people aboard the Humboldt Broncos bus who died as a result of the collision on April 6. Thirteen others were injured.

Adam Herold, Jacob Leicht, Glenn Doerksen, Tyler Bieber, Brody Hinz, Logan Boulet, Darcy Haugan, Logan Schatz and Parker Tobin have already been laid to rest.

SERVICES

The families of Jaxon Joseph, Logan Hunter, Tobin and Stephen Wack will host a public celebratio­n of life at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Tuesday at 1 p.m. MT.

A service for Connor Lukan will be held at The Gathering Place in Slave Lake, Alta., on Wednesday at 1 p.m. MT.

A funeral service will be held for Dayna Brons at the Elgar Petersen Arena in Humboldt on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

A celebratio­n of life will be held for Mark Cross at the Strasbourg Rec Centre in Strasbourg on Saturday at 2 p.m.
