- Submitted by TCU Place

Dig out your dancing shoes and join in for a night of dinner, dancing and door prizes! TCU Place hosts the first annual Senior’s Prom and it promises to be a night to remember, June 9.

The event, intended for those 55 and older but open to all ages, will start off with cocktails at 4:30 p.m., followed by a delicious buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m. created by the superb executive chef, Scott Hazel.

Following dinner, get ready to dance the night away as the local band, England, pays tribute to Elvis, The Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Beach Boys and more.

In addition to what is sure to be a packed dance floor, the Saskatoon Council on Aging will be running a 50/50 raffle. There are also several amazing door prizes to be won from some local companies including Pink Tree, Fairhaven Bowling, MC College and Louise Bell Watkins just to name a few.

And that’s not all! Make sure to get out on the dance floor for your chance to be named “Prom King & Queen” and take home the grand prize of a Friday or Saturday night stay at the Delta Bessborough with breakfast for two in the Club Lounge, and two concert tickets to your choice of Charley Pride or Celtic Thunder, courtesy of TCU Place.

There is no dress code, but we’d love to see some of your old prom or grad dresses brought back to life!

Tickets are $40 plus tax and include dinner. If you can’t make it in time for dinner, there is also an option to purchase a dance only tickets for $20 plus tax. Tickets available now at the TCU Place Box Office, 306-975-7799 or www.tcutickets.ca. Definitely an event to pencil into your dance card, it will be the hottest ticket in the city!
