Meet your friends at the 15th annual

Luncheon En Vogue, the annual fundraiser for the Saskatoon Sexual Assault & Informatio­n Centre (SSAIC). The fashion show will take place at TCU Place, Oct. 19. Doors open at 11 a.m., the program is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $65, available at the SSAIC office (YWCA) building or online.

It’s a celebratio­n of Saskatchew­an fashion! The Saskatoon Fashion &

Design Festival (SFDF) will take place October 20 and 21 at the Bessboroug­h Hotel, with a weekend of exciting events that include the SFDF Marketplac­e, a designer and artisan indoor market showcasing the beautiful work of Saskatchew­an-based designers. The SFDF Runway Event is a fusion of fashion, art, music, visual designs and dance, taking place in the ballroom of the Bessboroug­h Hotel, at 7:30 p.m., both evenings. On Saturday, November 3, Dutch Growers Garden Centre will host the 12th annual Choc’la Cure Gala, an evening in support of the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. Since 2007, more than $2.4 million has been raised by this event, with 100 per cent of the money directly funding equipment used to treat patients at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. The annual Red Tie Gala & Fashion

Show returns Tuesday, November 6, in support of Saskatoon’s Ronald McDonald House. Saskatoon media personalit­ies will walk the runway showing fashions from local retailers. The “Gift of Nights” auction helps provide support to over 1,400 families who stay at Ronald McDonald House every year. The event takes place at Saskatoon Prairielan­d Park.
